Virtual Gate is the TRACK Platform’s mobile solution that enables contractor in/out events to be captured in remote work locations. Virtual Gate consists of a mobile application (iPhone & Android) and an administrative console as a cloud application that communicates with the client’s TRACK database. The application can be used by individuals or by a foreman to record the daily activity for their crew members.

With Virtual Gate, contractors can add field notes and images to provide owners visibility of the work being done in the field. All Virtual Gate activity includes GPS coordinates that are used with geo-boundaries and validation of worker location. The activities from Virtual Gate flow into TRACK as labor activity along with the geo-information, field notes, and images giving owners information necessary to accurately approve.

Field Notes

Field notes allows owners to know exactly what work is being performed in real time and where that work happened within the remote worksite. Craftsmen can upload field notes into the Virtual Gate application and attach images of the work performed. This will also attach a GPS location showing where the work took place. Owners now have all of the information they need to validate and assess the work performed. 

Geo-Authorization

The Virtual Gate application has geo-authorization allowing owners to see exactly where contractor in/out events occur. Within the TRACK Platform, owners have the ability to draw a geographical boundary for their remote worksite. When craftsmen badge in or out, owners can see if they badged in on or offsite allowing them to automatically track whether or not site boundaries are being adhered to.
